Alcohol Rehab Outpatient Treatment

Alcohol rehab Glasgow, Scotland

At Nadcell, we understand that attending residential rehab is not always possible. That is why we have dedicated ourselves to establishing an effective outpatient program designed to wean you off alcohol through a safe and reliable process.

Not only is our outpatient set-up safe and reliable, but it is also flexible and affordable, making it accessible to anyone needing help.

Outpatient Alcohol Rehab And Inpatient Alcohol Rehab

The outpatient treatment is very similar to inpatient treatment, except that you stay in your own home (or local accommodation that we can help organise), except coming into the clinic for daily treatment and counselling. This offers less supervision than a rehab centre or similar, but also more flexibility and the option to stay at home (or a local B&B or hotel) if you need it.

Typically, inpatient treatments will occur in a residential rehab centre, lasting between 30 and 90 days. During this period, you will go through a medically supervised alcohol detox, followed by extensive one-to-one therapy sessions, as well as attending group sessions with your peers.

Outpatient clients tend to receive less intensive treatment. Instead, you will be required to attend all necessary for an inpatient program, but you will do it through regular on-site appointments with our team at Nadcell.

Is An Outpatient Alcohol Rehab Program Effective?

An outpatient program’s effectiveness depends on you. It would be the same if you were to attend an inpatient program. An outpatient plan has the necessary steps to help you get sober. As with anything else, you must meet it halfway to experience the effect that you are looking for. If you are ready to get sober, then that is what will happen.

According to the Butler Center at Hazelden Betty Ford:

  • 88.64% of people who complete treatment remain alcohol-free after one month
  • 85% to 95% of people who meet their program are substance-free nine months after rehab

Is the Nadcell Outpatient Program Flexible?

Yes, our team at Nadcell can support your situation so that we can make a plan that applies to you. As the only outpatient alcohol detox clinic of its kind in Scotland, never mind just Glasgow, we really are an amazing option for people looking for alcohol treatment. There are many reasons why people cannot attend residential rehab, whether financial, family or work commitments or perhaps the intense structure of the inpatient rehab program just isn’t suited to you.

We can offer all the same treatments as a residential rehab but at a pace that can suit your lifestyle, finances, family or work commitments.

What Kind Of Alcohol Treatments Is There?

At Nadcell, we have all the treatments to help you wean from alcohol safely and effectively.

Medical Alcohol Detox

Before any of the groundwork in getting to the root of why you drink, it is vital to detox your body from any alcohol so that you can attend in-person day rehab sessions with a clear head.

What Is Involved In A Medical Detox?

We have experienced doctors and nurses who will talk you through which medicines you will receive while ensuring that your medical detox is specifically designed to meet your current needs. In addition, our doctors will observe and supervise your detox journey to ensure your safety.

How Can I Get A Medical Detox For Alcohol?

Alcohol addiction is a deadly disease that requires immediate attention. At Nadcell, we can provide a private consultation, treatment, and prescription to help you get sober quickly. Our doctor will perform a medical assessment and discuss your treatment options depending on your medical history, living situation, symptoms and any concerns you might have.

If you are suitable and need a medical detox, a prescription will be made for you. This prescription must be taken according to the doctor’s instructions, and it is helpful if you have someone to help you, as this can be a challenging time for anyone. The doctor and our counsellors will check in on your progress, and you can call at any time for help and advice or come into the clinic for assistance.

What Happens Once I Am Detoxed From Alcohol?

We pride ourselves on the details. We have several avenues that can help you get stronger physically and mentally.

Rehabilitation Treatments

Counselling Sessions

We provide personal care, such as counselling sessions that help you find ways of understanding the psychological side of your addiction and the triggers involved.

After detox can be emotional because you are sober for the first time in a long time. It can be daunting. At NADcell, we have qualified and experienced alcohol counsellors available through our NAD+ clinic, so you can talk things through and find ways to help you maintain sobriety.

In-Person Day Rehabilitation (Dayhab)

As well as providing appropriate care for the psychological side of addiction, we also offer treatments that target the physical trauma caused by alcoholism. That is why the team at Nadcell feel that it is essential to the body’s recovery to include treatments that can help the body rejuvenate itself. One of those treatments is to restore the body’s functions by providing vitamin and mineral infusions as part of our treatment that helps repair damage caused by years of alcohol abuse.

As well as other inpatient treatments, including:

Vitamin & Nutrient IV Treatment

One of the advantages we have over almost all rehabs in the UK – whether they are inpatient or outpatient – is that we are registered to administer intravenous (IV) vitamins and minerals. Sometimes called drips and shots, our infusions and injections allow our clients to restore their bodies and brains much quicker than simply taking oral supplements. We offer NAD+ infusion therapy. Research has shown that NAD+ is highly beneficial for those who drink too much in helping to repair the negative effects of alcohol misuse.

Transcranial Electrical Stimulation (TES) Therapy For Alcohol Detox

Transcranial Electrical Stimulation therapy may sound scary, but TES is a non-invasive treatment for pain management and mood and behaviour improvement.

TES is effective in the recovery from everything from brain injury to depression and alcohol dependence. At Nadcell, we have found that TES has been effective for our clients in finding temporary pain relief without medication.

Satori Chair Therapy

The Satori chair is one of the holistic therapies we offer as part of our outpatient care in our NAD+ clinic. The satori chair provides sonic frequencies that help promote relaxation, meditation, sleep, and rest.

Even though detox is a step towards alcohol recovery, it is hard on the body; therefore, it can be exhausting to process withdrawal symptoms.

Satori chair therapy allows you to relax and rest between medication, NAD+ therapy and TES therapy or counselling sessions. In fact, some clients have found the satori chair valuable in helping them absorb findings in recent counselling sessions.

If you feel ready to take that first step by acknowledging your addiction, please call us now for your free initial consultation about our NADcell alcohol detox treatment plan.

Our team will happily answer any questions you have about our outpatient program.
